We are supporting Glenn in his efforts to raise awareness on Cancer research and funds for the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse cancer research hospital, as they saved his life just over 2 years ago. Glenn was diagnosed with advanced neck Cancer and underwent aggressive surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy as well as many months of rehabilitation and hard work in recovery.

He is now years clear of Cancer and is proud to be a Lifehouse Ambassador where he spends spare time raising awareness and funds.

“They saved my life and I’m determined to do what I can to give something back to these amazingly dedicated people. I really hope people will get behind this event and help us to take another step toward ridding the world of Cancer. Unfortunately 1 in 2 people will be affected directly by Cancer by the time they are 80 years old; that’s scary. By sponsoring one of my boards at the record attempt you are helping Lifehouse to save lives… it may be you own!”

Even if you are not able to be a part of the GWR Board Breaking attempt, you can still actively support the event and the cause by sponsoring a board. It’s simple, and it is going to a very worthy cause. $20 will sponsor 1 board, and you can sponsor as many as you would like. All profits will be going to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.

“Thank you to our corporate sponsors – Your support will help Lifehouse to save lives”
